Wireless network at Aalborg University
Whether you are a student, employee or guest at the university, you have the option for using our wireless networks.
Your choice of wireless network depends on who you are. The guide below identifies the network we recommend for you.
Which wireless network should I select?
- Employees and students at AAU
AAU-1x (remember to have this network configured on your computer).
- Employees and students from other institutions
eduroam (if you have an edurom profile configured, and your institution participates in the eduroam community), otherwise AAU-1-DAY.
- Participants at conferences
See the conference material or ask the organizer whether the conference network is available for you. Otherwise you may inquire them to get access to AAU-1-DAY.
- Other guests
AAU-1-DAY.
Use our conference network if you are hosting a conference
If you are hosting a conference at AAU you may provide your participants with wireless network by using our conference network.
Use eduroam at other institutions
As a student or employee at AAU you have the option for using the eduroam network when you visit other participating institutions.
